I'm participating in a fund-raising event, organized by an online friend. Here's the website for the group:Craft Hope for Haiti
My sister contributed her brilliantly clever drawstring bag - it has a teddy bear shaped potholder for the bottom.
My contribution is my "Good Juju Doll".
There's lots of other great stuff on the site and new items being added every day.

New Project
For Christmas, I decided to make some aprons for my nieces. I used this 40s style flared petal shape with seam binding around each section. It looks difficult, but if you get the knack for seam binding, it's not so hard. They loved the aprons, and Chris said she could sell them at work, and might be willing to do a craft fair for me. I'm planning to list them on Etsy, too.
Here's the progress so far:

Rachel's apron
Red checks
Pink Hearts SOLD
Chili Peppers
Blue Hearts
